100W Sound with Six Built-in Speaker Units
The Awei Y990 combines four full-range speakers and two tweeters in a single soundbar. Its total rated output of 100W makes it an option for a home entertainment setup where you want to use a dedicated audio system instead of relying only on your TV’s built-in speakers.
The soundbar uses stereo channels and electronic frequency division to distribute audio across its speaker units. This configuration is designed to support music playback, movie soundtracks and everyday television audio.
Bluetooth 5.0 and Multiple Audio Connections
Bluetooth 5.0 allows the Y990 to receive audio wirelessly from compatible smartphones, tablets and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Its specified effective Bluetooth distance is up to 10 metres, although actual range may vary depending on obstacles and nearby wireless interference.
The soundbar also supports optical, AUX and USB inputs. These connection options make it easier to use different audio sources with your home entertainment system. Before purchasing, check your television’s available audio outputs to ensure compatibility with the soundbar.
Remote Control and Slim Soundbar Design
The included infrared remote control lets you operate supported functions without reaching for the soundbar. Built-in control buttons provide another way to access essential settings directly on the device.
Measuring 960 × 59 × 100.8mm, the Awei Y990 has a long design intended for a home TV setup. It uses an external power adapter with AC 100–240V input and DC 18V/2.5A output, so a power outlet is required during operation.
